Thanks @jdanois - that just brings up the same deletion dialog for me as the minus button does.

Error: TypeError Cannot assign to read only property '1' of string 'Flags'

That is an error that is displayed on the bottom bar in the browser.
Also, how to disable a built-in email?

I don't understand why it's so complicated or hard to just add the ability to REMOVE OLD MAIL ACCOUNTS!!!! this is so very frustrating. I have been using vivaldi for a few years now, and when I initially installed it and was setting it up, I logged into about 8 of my many google accounts. well, having that many accounts causes too much memory loss trying to sync them. And i don't need them all logged in. Regardless. To this day I haven't been able to remove any of them. I can't access them, they don't work, none of my mail accounts ever function right now. I tried deleting the entire contents of the mail folder. Databases as instructed, hell, I tried searching for mail in the vivaldi folder and deleting it all. They just NEVER GO AWAY. It's super annoying. And i'm a little miffed yall advertising how great the mail works now with v2mail or whatever. It's never worked for me ever. It just runs and takes up memory and never works right. I had it turned off last 2 years, and i recently turned it back on cuz i WANT TO USE IT. I do really like vivaldi. But its just baffling to me no one thought to add Right click ---> delete to anything in the mail folder. I mean....come on....All these mail options and pointless customizations and i can't do the simplest thing now for years and years and years. ITs a known issue too....Plus, since the mails all boogered up, I cant just deactivate the mail, i then can't use the calendar or todo. But i just end up using none of them and wasting my time having to help trouble shoot the SIMPLEST thing in my opinion.

Hell, the mail client cant even access the emails. that should be cause for it to prompt me to remove, not me have to become a coder to get it done. Its annoying, I just want 2 or 3 emails attached to my profile, but I didnt know and its been since day one they wont go away. WHY CANT I RIGHT CLICK AND DELETE 😞

@FrogTalk To delete an e-mail account from the Vivaldi Mail client, go into the Mail settings, highlight the account you want to delete, then click the - icon at the bottom of the list. You will also be presented with an option to delete the e-mails saved on your storage device, along with the account.
