I can't login anymore on Google.

Any attempt to access https://accounts.google.com will freeze the whole browser, and need me to force-quit the app.

I already tried with a new profile, and to totally remove the app and its data folders (fresh install, no plugins, nothing). Still no luck.

I'm using Vivaldi since the beggining, I never had something like that. What happened ? 😿 😿

      Thanks !

        Hello, @Pumpk1in 👋!

I currently use all Google services and I don't understand why you have this error. The best I can recommend you (if you have already done the profiles) is

        1. Go back to a previous version of Vivaldi and retry to reproduce the error.
        2. Report it via vivaldi.com/bugreport to see if it's due to something we haven't noticed yet.

          Hi @RealMat0s !

          Thanks for answering.

I tried an older version. Same problem.
So I tried with Chrome, and Chromium : same result. It seems to affect all Chromium-based browsers. No matter the version (tried with a mid 2021 version too).

It works perfectly fine on Firefox/Safari.

I'm now pretty sure it is due to my computer config. I'm using a hakintosh. And I updated the "drivers" (kexts) some weeks ago. It seems to coincides with the initial appearance of this problem.

I tried to disable hardware acceleration, no luck.

I still don't understand why it would only freeze only on this specific URL when using Chromium, but who knows what Google did for Chromium and their account website...

I'll try to see with the kext developpers.

Sorry for opening this topic. Vivaldi is not the culprit !

Have you tried updating your browser? This happened to my friend as well but it was fixed after she updated her browser. Also, if the problem is not fixed by the update, try uninstalling and installing google chrome. If you are not using google chrome, try using it now. Firefox is not. a good option because I think it's mostly not compatible with most websites or features.
