All tabs are saved
-
Every page that I open on Vivaldi Android is saved forever.
Is there a setting that deletes tabs after X time or something similar? After dozens of open tabs that browser gets very slow and I don't know how to fix this without removing the app and reinstalling it.
Am I missing something obvious here? Other browser apps simply kill the tabs after a while.

@Onweerwolf
Try:"Settings", set this option "On"
-
That doesn't work.
There seems to be no way to exit the app without completely uninstalling it.
-
@Onweerwolf
try:"menu->exit"to close app. -
Sure, but that's not the point.
It should do it automatically when it's removed from recent apps list, either when you swipe it out of there or your OS removes it. This is how it works for all other browsers I've used.
This looks like an oversight on Vivaldi design, one that makes us push buttons for no reason at all. Which is terribly annoying.

See the black&white stylized V just past the address bar? That's the Vivaldi menu... Click it, drag up a bit on the list that pops out from your right... At the bottom right of your window you'll see (...wait for it...) The Exit command. Click that selection. Done and done:) says Don!

How is that automatical?

@Onweerwolf You mean you want Vivaldi to guess when you're ready to quit?! I don't think so.

Quitting and "uninstalling" are different, no?!
-
Guess?
What do you mean 'guess'?
Ir should have the option to delete all tabs when the app leaves the recent apps list automatically , just like every other browser does.
In the meantime I've found another thread with lots of people complaining about about this exact same problem and nothing is done about it. Not even a developer confirmation of being aware of the issue.
I'm back to Chrome until this is fixed. Vivaldi for desktop is great, the Android version is not.

Irrelevant. Read what was written, cowboy.
