Option to make reading list offline
-
I know reading list will be available offline until we read them.
But we can't read a big Article on one strech...
After reading the webpage isn't available offlineSo an option for offline even after we read it is appreciated... Making all pages offline is tough... But long pressing in reading list and saving would be awesome

@lockrol , it seems somewhat complicated, because for this you need that Vivaldi remaine active, not so usefull in mobile with few resources and memory like mine.
If I need to read a long article in reader view o direct and want it offline, I use the Blue Velved Editor (Works fine in the web panel, as PWA and is optimized for mobile use, free, private, no account needed), its a online word processor, than I select the content of the article and paste it in the editor. In the editor the article remains in it's original layout and format with all evtl. links (direkt or embedded) active. The editor save the file by default in html format locally in your HD (PC) or in your mobile. In this way you cand open the file direct in the browser, even when you are offline, no need of a third party app or wasting Ram with Vivaldi when you don`t need it. -
@Catweazle Why need to remain active ?? All I ask is an option in reading list to download selected webpages...
You can download pages from menu ... But I need to do it without opening it, especially when we need to download Multiple articles before or flight or something!!Wouldn't it be cool to able to do it ??️

That's what I want...️️
A download option when selecting links in reading list -
Opera browser has offline pages function. Reading list could be offline pages storage for mobile users. Those pages will load when I'm online automaticlly. And I'm able to read all webpage offline when I needed.
