disable pre-loading

i dont like vivaldis download-system.
It give me possibility to chose download-folder. But before i would have pushed "save" with selected folder, target file is already being downloaded in some "buffer". And only then it is copied to the right place.In case I want to save a large file to another drive, disk resourse and time are wasted
May be target file has been already downloaded, but i will find out about it while or after downloading of dublicate.Is there way for disable pre-loading??

Vivaldis download act the same as Chrome and other Chromiums related browsers. -
It is strange statement. The most of us use vivaldy because it is not "same as chrome". Or didn't chromium allow to make a healthy downloading?
