Yesss ..... snapshotday

This is a nice Tuesday surprise

Something odd is happeing to me after downloading this snapshot.
What you see is a new window after clicking attached image of an email. It looks like the address bar has grown out of proportion and there is no way to fix it. -
You thought I wouldn't notice the new and improved toolbar editor?!? I can put the address bar in the status toolbar if I so please now!
-
We can also add our fav/frequent command chains to toolbars.

@AltCode Speaking of the new toolbar editor... It is shaping up nicely, though even if it is still an experiment, I'm wondering why the button dragging modifier key is being changed from
shift
toctrl/cmd
. This brings its own problems. For starters, in 5.2 and older versions, usingcmd
(not sure aboutctrl
on windows/linux) on the reload button would clone the current tab with all its history. Furthermore, using this same modifier key on the history buttons would open the previous/next page in the history of the active tab as a new tab in the background. This is not possible with the new experiment.Furthermore, I don't think there should be a need for any button dragging modifier key with the new toolbar editor. It is a far better user experience that let's you quickly look for other buttons, and add/remove them easily. Editing toolbars outside the toolbar editor should be disallowed, imo.
Lastly, I think it would be best if the toolbar editor opened as a separate tab rather than a popup, similar to how firefox does it.
That would be, imo, give an even better user experience, because right now switching between tabs does not close the toolbar editor like clicking outside the popup does. This would ideally also give a quicker way of editing the toolbar that is only visible while inside the Vivaldi Mail tab/an email tab.

@DriverOp The address field is too high, a known issue!
Was already reported by me for a internal 5.3 Daily.A nasty bug!
VB-89127 "[Regression] Address field in popup window is resized in height" - Confirmed

[Mail][Panel] Settings to re-arrange the panel (VB-86001)
What does that do?

@Ruarí Hi, I see the ability of Stack Tabs by Hosts is still missing from the Window List, (Stack Tabs by Host is there), did it miss this Snapshot or it will be available in Friday's one? Thanks in advance!

[New][Settings] Reset to default for every section (VB-7696)
Allowing is fine. I hope it does not force me to?!
// Nothing has happened, but I really got scared for a moment when I read the title
-
Moving almost everything (side panel, trash bin missing) around in the UI is a great WIP!
When can we expect moving (and sorting) Feeds?
-
I didn't read anything specifically related to that (unless I overlooked something), but now it's possible to move buttons (Home, Reload…etc…) to the right of the addressfield without a CSS mod.

Quick Commands doesn't show me history items (even though it's enabled in settings - naturally). This is been so since at least the previous snapshot (2658.3), maybe even the one before it. Is this a known bug?
Edit: disabled it in the settings, closed the tab, reenabled it, and it seems working now. Weird.
