Solved still no proper icon kde plasma wayland

Morning all,
vivaldi still does not have a proper icon in the taskbar under kde plasma under wayland, this the default yellow "W"
This is under Arch,
vivaldi 5.2.2623.39
plasma-desktop 5.24.4 -
@jjgalvez Hi. It's been weeks since i last logged into Plasma Wayland instead of Plasma X11, so i've not yet had a chance to try this out for myself. Maybe you might like to have a go at it yourself, then let me know later?

@guigirl That worked! thank you I will apply the same trick to a couple of other programs that do the same thing!

Thanks, the workaround works for me on Arch Linux.
But the Wayland generic icon is a chromium/vivaldi bug and it should be fixed. -

Hi All, not sure about KDE. But latest Vivaldi snapshot 5.7.2901.3-1 is fixing the issue in GNOME (and I assume in other DE's). Seems like we just need to wait for 5.7 stable.
