Side Panel Numbers
-
I love the side panel, and use it a LOT. To the point where I actually set up keyboard shortcuts for all nine shortcut-able slots! I love to be able to open/close the panels with a keypress! Since there are nine of them, I used Ctrl+Alt+1-9, and I can just count down the icons and know the number to use. I also love that I can re-arrange them on-the-fly!
However, there are a couple of visual mods that would make it easier for people like me.
One would be some sort of divider line between the built-in panels and user-definable panels.
Next would be to put tiny little numbers beside the user-definable web-panel icons to indicate their placement. That way I could just glance over, see a tiny little "7" in the corner, and know I need to hit Ctrl+Alt+7 to open that one.
Since I re-arrange and add/remove web panels regularly as my interests or work changes, having numbers would be a huge help!
Thank you for your consideration, and apologies if this is a repeat. I did search, but didn't find a similar request.
I'm including a mock-up for clarity:

@azdayton There is already a request for Panel Separators.
I use Ctrl+1-9 for the default panels (I don't use Calendars or Feeds)
I use Ctrl+Shift+1-9 for web panels. -
@Pesala This is for numbers, very useful for those with many panels opening them with kb shortcuts. I support this.
