      I just opened a new window to look at my feeds, and the feed button was missing. The mail and contacts buttons are also missing. The first-opened window has all 3. I can understand the mail button only being present on the window in which mail is open, and I guess contacts might go with mail, but reading feeds has nothing to do with mail. Looks like a bug.

      @eekee currently mail (and feeds) can only exist in the first browser window. I guess they are working on a solution but it does not seem to be easy, it has been like this from the start. (there are plenty of threads about this on the forum)

      If you work with many windows, here is a way to quickly get to the one with mail https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/64490/m3-changing-the-display-window/5?_=1649485771345

      Usually on Win11 running Vivaldi Snapshot builds. Opinionated about working efficiently with email. Folders are evil | Mail workflow: receive, read, reply, mark as read, done.

      @wildente Thanks for the link.

      Now I think about it, I'm less understanding about mail only existing in one window. What you do is have one subsystem prepare the data, then have multiple subsystems (1 per window) pull from it. I can think of examples of this going back to a game in 1992, but to be fair, it is one of those concepts which seems impossible until you know how it's done.
