Feature Request: Download Notification

I have downloads to always save to the pre-defined folder. However, with this setup, when clicking a file to download, I receive no notification that the download has successfully been added to the download queue - I have to open to the downloads tab/panel to see. I would like to see some sort of brief notification or simple animation to indicate that a download has been started. Have a nice day

If there's activity on the progress bar at the bottom of the little download icon (or if it's partially "lit") then a download is occurring. If it goes back dim like the arrow above it, the download is done.
