                          Why Open the Web?

Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

Speaking of search engine favicons, what's up with those in the context menu? I have some search engines I've added a while ago that appear without their icons when I invoke the menu (but the icons are seen in the settings). Is there a way to refresh them without having to create them anew?

Seems like the reading list doesn't refresh properly between multiple windows, normal or private (VB-86416).

E.g. I added a page to the reading list in one window, then opened another window and removed that page from the reading list. When I returned to the original window, if was still there for that window and it would not refresh until I either: added a new page to the reading list or attempted to open the removed item.

@killchain: Almost the same problem here. 5 search engines, 3 show favicons (google, google translate, TMDB) but 2 of them not (Startpage, IMDb), not in the settings and not in the right-click context menu. What's with that?

Startpage is a bit complicated, I have a "preferences URL" which shows Startpage as I set it in the settings page, but the URL starts with: https://www.startpage.com/sp/search?query=%s (after that is: "&prfe=" and a long string of numbers and chars), I also use Duckduckgo as the suggest URL because Startpage doesn't have one: https://ac.duckduckgo.com/ac/?q=%s&type=list

Would be nice if we had more control over the things being added. I like the idea of a reader list, but I would also like to drag the reader button to my statusbar.

I don't have any issue with adding a settings button to the start page, but I will never use it so I would like to have the choice to disable it. On a side note: The overlay is not using the same background as the side panel which creates another inconsistency in themes

                                        Thanks

PS. Why is this .TabbedView still using a fixed max-width? It looks less than ideal on large wide screens or anything above 1080p

Thanks for confirming it has been reported. Though, does that mean that every custom search engine doesn't show the favicon? Because at least the TMDB search engine I have added shows the favicon just fine, I don't remember that being in the list of default search engines that ship with Vivaldi.. was even Google Translate in that list?
