Click to Call does not work

Hello,
clicking on a link with a telefone number should open the Android phone app. This is working fine in other browsers e.g. Chrome, but unfortunately not in Vivaldi (latest stable version).
This is very annoying, since it's a basic feature and also personally essential for me (I use Google Search quite a lot to find phone numbers).

(clicking on the phone link does nothing at all)I'm using a Pixel 5 device with Android 12. The issue was reported as VAB-5185.
Please fix!

Hi, the number from your link open the contacts app, I can add it to my contacts or start a call.Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite
Android 11Maybe it is an Android 12 / Vivaldi problem, not many use 12 at moment. I hop the developer can reproduce it.

I guess it really is Android 12 specific issue. Can anyone on Android 12 confirm this?
For me the issue unfortunately still remains. No reaction yet to my issue reporting.

The latest Vivaldi release seems to have fixed the issue
