and I can remember a feature , I could add a button in a tab, to show/hide images for current tab only
so for tab 1, show images, tab 2 don't show images
INCREDIBLY loved old opera for that!! so we could just focus on content only, for certain sites

On Windows 8.1, NVidia GTX 760M i see the text very blurry with no subpixel hinting (grayscale hinting instead). It would be nice if this could be configured somehow.

At last we have a print rendering engine with preview that works. This is excellent.
Could we also have the forwards & backwards browsing history available from the keyboard please: i.e. ALT-Z and ALT-X. That was the beauty of the last "good" Opera - having the ability to use simple keyboard shortcuts for a very fast browsing experience.
Would also like the option to disable the close button on tabs. These take up space when power users have large numbers of open tabs. It's easy enough to use mouse gestures or the keyboard to close tabs in this situation.
Mouse gesture: open new tab (drag-down) is missing or not (yet) implemented.

Oh, I like this initiative! This browser is looking very promising. If I could code, I would probably do the same project, so I'm really glad to see this.
As opera 12 user, there are a few features that I currently miss in Vivaldi. They are:
- Pin a tab so they become small and always visible.
- Ability to show the website preview in their tabs (you can drag the tabrow down in Opera to see it. I'm a visual person, so thats how I navigate quickly to the tabs I visit often.
- I am not yet sure if I need this one: ability to expand/contract tabgroups into one or all tabs.
And a bug I found:
Pressing right mouse button + left mouse button to go to the previous tab still does a context menu popup. -
Basically, give me opera 12.14 (or maybe even opera 11) but modernised. I love that tab stacking has returned and that the + and - signs can still be used to control zoom as well as using the numbers for this. Did they forget to add the * to be used to bring the page back to its default size?
As for things specifically that I want:
-opera's password management instead of chrome's. I do not like how the fields auto populate when you visit a page that requires your login. I would prefer that the fields remain blank until you hit Ctrl+Enter. Or maybe hit the wand button, but that's not really necessary, although nice to have.
-same amount of freedom for customising the speed dial as opera 12. I would like to adjust the size and how many dials I may have in each row or column. I do like that I may use bookmark folders as my speed dial. Very clever feature, makes me glad that I duplicated my original speed dial in opera as a bookmark folder.
-customisation: if the ability to create your own buttons and such does not return, please add a "minimise all" button to minimise all tabs.
-opera turbo: i'd LOVE to see this in vivaldi. as mentioned before, it's not something i use often, but i am extremely glad it's there for when i must use it.
-better portability: when i choose stand alone installation in opera 12 (or any older version for that matter) I can take the resulting opera folder anywhere and it will work. This does not happen with vivaldi. If I move the Vivaldi folder and try to run it, I get an error message saying that it's searching for something and lists the path that it was originally installed in. Basically, please make portability work like in opera 12.
-please bring back opera 12's network and proxy settings, not what is currently found in vivaldi and chrome.
This is all that I can think of for now.

As for opera's password manager, I feel like you, but recently I switched to lastpass, so I can transfer my passwords elsewhere, and manage it all better (random passwords etc). When extensions are made, this is going to solve your problem.

It took a couple of minutes for Vivaldi to load rateyourmusic.com page (which is a rather lightweight site)
-
LPChip, you can actually drag down the tabbar to get previews.
-
In iCloud Agenda, using the backspace key in an input filed makes Vivaldi to go back to the previous visited page! (e.g. the Icloud home page) instead of removing the last character of the input
-
When entering information in a field, pressing the hyphen "-" key causes the browser to zoom out. Glad of the zoom reset button!
-
I also have the "black screen of death" problem (black and empty, no tabs, no UI, no web, no nothing!).
This happens to me after deleting some bookmarks (e.g. folder 'news').
I have to delete all vivaldi-files and totally reinstall it. This is really annoying because this browser is so amazing :woohoo:
Another case when it happens, is after installing (Chrome) Add-Ons (e.g. Ghostery).

Bugs:
When I press V - menu icon - and Vivaldi is open on the second monitor, the menu shows on the first monitor.
Some fonts look sharp and clear while others are really pain for the eyes - watery, blurry, foggy. I'm still using Opera 12.17 and there are some issues with rendering fonts on websites, but in the Opera itself they are looking crisp, saturated and clear.I'd like to add that it's wonderful that you are working on this project as I can't use Internet without Opera 12.17, but it's getting older less secure and there was no alternative… until now! Keep up the good work and THANK YOU!

Pandora.com seems not to work after a while it goes to
It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play. The music should be playing soon. If you get tired of waiting, you can try reloading your browser.

First of all Let me give a few technical details:
i'm running ubuntu 14.0.1 64 bits
also got the black screen of death:

Made 2 tests before coming here. First, discovered that the browser starts in linux with the following command: vivaldi-stable.
So i looked at /usr/share/applications/vivaldi.desktop file and found that it starts with the same argument:
Exec=/usr/bin/vivaldi-stable %UBut, trying to start from the command line, found another command: vivaldi. First tried the default command, and got the Black Screen Of Death. But, when i used the vivaldi comand… it worked fine
Then i thought to myself: Ok, just replace the command line on the .desktop file and it will be ok, right? Only that, when i did that, it stopped working, and now it's all black screen of death for me

I have some problems with mouse wheel (it just don't works…).
I'm running Vivaldi on Windows Vista -
If you have the 'black screen of death' and you want to reinstall vivaldi (on e.g. Ubuntu 14.04), you can run this command in your terminal:
sudo rm -r /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/vivaldi /usr/share/doc/vivaldi* /opt/vivaldi* /usr/bin/vivaldi* /var/lib/dpkg/info/vivald* ~/.cache/vivaldi /etc/default/vivaldi /usr/share/menu/vivaldi.menu ~/.config/vivaldi /etc/alternatives/vivaldi ; sudo dpkg –install <path_to_file>/Vivaldi_TP_1.0.83.38-1_amd64.deb</path_to_file>This will delete all relevant vivaldi-files and reinstall vivaldi. All data of your "old" vivaldi will be deleted — but you can use a clean vivaldi again

When Vivaldi is closed, on Opera 12 right click a site and Open With Vivaldi and it just opens Vivaldi with no pages. When Vivaldi is open already Opera's Open With works just fine.
Speeddial seems to only to take site.com not site.com/somethingsomething main page is not always the one I want to open. -
Tested Vivaldi 1.0.83.38 Windows 8.1 (x64)
-On Google+ (only this site so far) I have noticed that when ever I push backspace while writing a post or sharing content Vivaldi will take me back one page.
-On Microsoft Office Excel Online I have noticed that typing numbers into cells will activate the built-it tab switching and zoom keyboard shortcuts.I will update this as I discover more (Hopefully I won't )
