External app links not working

Hello, new user here. Enjoying it a lot after switching from Brave. However, there's a big issue I can't overlook. Every time I need to click a link in Vivaldi where an external app installed on my phone is supposed to open, it doesn't work. I click and nothing happens.
It might be some kind of permissions issue, but it's very frustrating. For example, all payments in Sweden require another app for authentication and I can never use Vivaldi to shop with. The app is called BankID and it never opens when it's supposed to.
Another example is email links. If there's a link I'm supposed to click that will launch the Outlook app, nothing happens once I click.
I believe this happens with any external apps that are supposed to be launched like that. Has this been reported before? Is there a workaround?

Hi and welcome, there is a setting "Stay in Browser" at the bottom of the settings page.
It is enabled by default, try to disable it.Cheers, mib

This also fixes authenticating using a pop-up browser in apps! I was having a problem logging in to an app when it pops up a browser window to log in and then the page would say the link back to the app was blocked. Disabling this setting fixed this for me. Lots of apps do this so this was a little confusing to me.
