True Portability
-
Good day. I have downloaded Vivaldi and installed it as "standalone", that is, as a portable application. My question is: where in the program folder(s) should I copy and paste the pepflashplayer32.dll file so that flash content is rendered properly when the host computer does not have flash installed? Thank you for your attention.

Folder you installed vivaldi in->application->version number->paste in this folder…

Careful when using on different computers, "personal" secure things like password are machine specific and cannot be accessed on a different machine.
For general browsing, should work ok (but I haven't tried it). -
This is the way that works for me:
1. Put pepflashplayer.dll in any place, of course preferably inside a Vivaldi subfolder (say, "Vivaldi\Flash")
2. Make a Windows shortcut with target and parameters:
Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe –ppapi-flash-path="Vivaldi\Flash\pepflashplayer.dll" --ppapi-flash-version="20.0.0.306"
3. Run the shortcut -
