@ruarí Thanks. Trash can fix coming in another batch I assume?
[Window management][Address bar] Dropping link in an URL-bar opens it in the wrong window (VB-85006)
needs to be also backported, without it current Private browsing is seriously broken!

Edit: Sorry for the noise, but I seem to have not noticed the post above mine detailing that the bug I've mentioned is already known. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon, as it's a serious issue. I'll keep the original posts.
I'm running on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04). Anyone had an intermittent issue where you can't close a private window via mouse gesture? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Other gestures seem to work consistently.
Another thing, and maybe more serious, is has anyone noticed that when you click on a website saved in the address bar dropdown in a private window, sometimes the page opens in your normal window instead of the private one? Again, this is intermittent, happening now and then.

@gort: OK, replying to myself after doing a few tests with a virgin profile.
I'm running on Linux (Ubuntu 20.04). I set up a new profile for Vivaldi, renaming my current profile and corresponding cache, the started Vivaldi to start a virgin profile.
Initially I experimented by typing up sites to visit so that on the addressbar dropdown there'd be a list of sites to click, and things seemed to work OK. However, after installing Ublock Origin (as in my normal profile), creating a gesture to open a private window (like on my normal Vivaldi profile), and changing the close window when closing last tab setting (as in my normal profile), I noticed that after a while sometimes when opening a private window, then selecting a site on the address bar dropdown, it'd open the site in a normal working window, not the private window that I was on. This was intermittent, but definitely happened a few times.
So, maybe if someone wants to test this on Linux OS, do it for a longish time, and eventually the behaviour will happen. I'll submit a bug report, but right now I need to do a few urgent things (already late).

[Themes][Settings] rendering glitches (VB-84966)
That's great, though I hope more work is put into this. I still get plenty of rendering glitches. I have 20 custom themes, and it seems as though the more I have, the glitchier the themes settings page gets.
Using luetage's theme interface plus mod helps me circumvent the glitchiness a bit by letting me hide the default themes from view. But as I said, the more themes I have, the worse the glitches get.

Please fix Reader mode. It won't apply theme settings on first trigger. You have to use Settings every time to change it.

On the "lost themes on upgrade to 5.0 (VB-84750)" problem, I just upgraded from 4.x and took a screenshot of my theme configuration before upgrading just in case.
The good news is that the numbers are the same, so the theme was retained. The bad news is that the theme does not look the same afterwards. It turns out that's due to the Color Saturation setting.
It was on 25% after the upgrade, which I think is what I had it on before (that wasn't in the screenshot, so I'm not sure). Now it needs to be around 75% to achieve the same look with my theme that I had before.
So, either the saturation level was dropped upon upgrade or it simply works differently in 5.0, not sure which. I assume the latter.
Update: It is in fact the latter, since I remembered that I made a pre-upgrade backup and so could simply look in the Preferences file to see what it was: "color_accent_saturation_limit":0.25.
So, the saturation scale is different now, intentionally or not.

@npro: The trash can problem being?
-
@rseiler [Address bar] Trash should contain more than 25 items (VB-74499)

@npro Address bar? Closest trash can I see is tab bar.
-
@sgunhouse well don't tell me, send a PM to @Ruarí or someone from the team
P.S. Generaly speaking it isn't just related to Address- or Tab bar, for example I use this in my Webpage menus or in my Window Panel menus, when I have most of the UI hidden.

Thanks for all of your hard work all of you, and so much appreciated!

Thank you, Vivaldi!

Mmm, the copy & paste from DevTools seems to be broken like Chrome 95 and I can't find the new toggle under Experiments Settings
