Bad experiencing signing up

  • so my password manager generates secure passwords which I've biased more towards non alphanumeric characters. when I've done this during sign up, the password is accepted but then after I activate my account I'm told the password is wrong. I then get the system to sent me a password reset key and change it to something else - again biasing towards the symbols rather than letters. I then get the logon screen, at which point the new password is also not accepted. i then try another reset and after another verification email I choose a password using only alphabet letters. this works immediately and lets me in. what kind of weird password system does not let me use the secure highly randomised passwords I have everywhere else?
