      Vivaldi keeps crashing multiple times, over and over. It's not freezing, it just crashes. I could have just one tab open and no other apps running and it still crashes. It's been doing this for several days now. I have the most current version of Vivaldi and have tried restarting my computer.

        macOS version and Vivaldi version? Any extensions?

        Why Open the Web?

        Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
        When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
        However, many devices are excluded access to Web content.

            @JenRand I run Vivaldi 5.5.2805.44 (Stable channel) stable (64-bit)
            Revision ed3df8b348fc7b6ee9f95e6bac8e28595034f562
            OS Linux
            JavaScript V8 10.6.194.26
            User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/106.0.0.0 Safari/537.36
            Command Line /usr/bin/vivaldi-stable --enable-crashpad --flag-switches-begin --flag-switches-end --desktop-startup-id=mx-main;1668666571;891831;3255_TIME308846525 --save-page-as-mhtml

            Mine keeps crashing also on a daily basis. If the folks of Vivaldi don't fix this crashing issues, Brave Browser is sounding really good for me and it doesn't crash.
            I will persevere with Vivaldi for a few more days to see if they can fix the CRASHING issue. if not I'll go back to Brave Browser.

              @bk2020 Linux OS is vague as there are multiple ones, the poster here is in the macOS form section.

              Has anyone tried to narrow down what triggers the crash?

              For me I can't reproduce it on macOS 11 or Windows 11, also hard to try to reproduce if there are no steps listed.

              None has listed any extensions they have enabled.

                @Chas4

                Here is my system specs, so far Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Brave Browser don't crash. My system is fully updated as you can see. If you like I can also send you a copy of .xsession-errors if need be. My guess is, if it's crashing on Mac OS, and Linux. But not on Windows, I am happy to assist into solving this embarrassing problem, certainly The Vivaldi team don't need this type of problem either.
