Activate extensions on click
-
In Chrome I only use "activate on click" for my extensions so none of my private data is accessed by extensions unless I want to. In Vivaldi the same setting is available but I does not seem to be working. When I activate the setting the extension icon does not change and it's not activated on click.
Because Vivaldi is all about privacy this seems a pretty useful feature to me.

@crimis That is a known issue with Vivaldi.
A older bug VB-76153 "Extensions are not working when set to enable on click." - ConfirmedI updated tracker now for 4.2 & 4.3 version.

Meanwhile you can use the extension SimpleExtManager to disable them with a click.:

It still not working in 5.0.2497.24

VB-76153
I updated bug for 5.0 stable and internal 5.1, hope that could get more attention by devs.

@DoctorG Can you update the bug again? I don't trust most extensions so it would be great to have them only enabled on click in a privacy focused browser like Vivaldi.

@Crimis Updated for 6.1 Stable and 6.2 Snapshot.
