New Vivaldi Translate Graphic When Using Copy/Paste
-
In Vivaldi 4.2.2406.44 with "translate" capability a new graphic appears onscreen whenever text is highlighted for copy/paste functions.
The graphic, "<svg width="16" height="16" fill="none" xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg">" is an annoyance and unnecessary when viewing pages in the viewer's native language.
How can the "translate" graphic be disabled?
-
@jelittleton Vivaldi Settings → Webpages → untick Show Selected Text Translate Button
Icon is gone after change.

@doctorg The "Show Selected Text Translate Button" you indicated is already unchecked/clear. I've disabled all extensions and restarted Vivaldi. No change. The graphic appears regardless of the "Show Selected Text Translate Button" setting.

@jelittleton Had you checked all Vivaldi processes are terminated?
-
@jelittleton I checked on Debian 10.10 KDE 5 Plasma, and after making setting and restart of Vivaldi the icon was gone.

@doctorg The "Show Selected Text Translate Button" is unchecked/cleared when Vivaldi starts. As reported earlier, "I've disabled all extensions and restarted Vivaldi. No change."
