Opening a website in another browser
-
Is it possible to create a command chain for opening a website in another browser?
Or any other way? -
@gregor No, calling external programs is not implemented yet, but planned (as it existed in Opera Presto).
-
@gregor I know there are Chrome extensions that will let you do that, but I don't know if they're compatible with Vivaldi.
-
Ok, so I request that feature.
-
@gregor Feature request already in tracker as VB-13875 "Adding "Open with..." in installed browsers"

@barbudo2005 For every browser people want to use one extension!? OMG! Only for users with a few browsers installed.
We need feature (macro + menu) as existed on Opera 12 Presto. I hope Vivaldi's command chain will get it.
-
Of course the idea is to use ONE extension for the OTHER browser you want to use.

The AHK solution:
;Control+| ;OPEN A PAGE OF VIVALDI IN CHROME ;OR A PAGE OF FIREFOX IN CHROME ;OR A PAGE OF CHROME IN VIVALDI ^|:: Clipboard := If WinActive("ahk_exe vivaldi.exe") { Sleep,300 SendInput, {F8} Sleep,300 send ^c Sleep,100 Run , "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" "%clipboard%" } else If WinActive("ahk_exe firefox.exe") { Sleep,150 SendInput, {F6} Sleep,300 send ^c Sleep,100 Run , "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" "%clipboard%" } else If WinActive("ahk_exe chrome.exe") { Sleep,150 SendInput, !d Sleep,300 send ^c Sleep,100 Run , "C:\Users\xxxxxxx\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe" "%clipboard%" } return
