#header min height no longer respecting option
-
Before the most current update, i was able to compress the top bar to the size of when #header {display:none;} when the tab bar was to the left, and when the tab bar was at the top (with the same CSS rule), i had a normal and good amount of non obtrusive space.
Now, I am on Vivaldi 4.2.2406.44 stable, and there is still significant amounts of empty space that the hamburger menu occupies as well. I want to get rid of that space when the tab bar is on the left/right, but NOT when it's at the top. How can I accomplish this in the css with the new update?

Sorry, I should mention:
I was accomplishing this with under #header, having
minimum-height: 0px;
there is no longer a minimum height that is respected when the hamburger menu is not present.

I’m having an issue understanding you. Can you post the full code?
- When the tab bar was at the top, what was the impact of your code? Reduce the tabs’ height, or what?
- When the tab bar wasn’t at the top [e.g. on the left], what was the impact?
- Did it just reduce the almost-empty space’s height?
- Did it remove that space? What about the menu button?

@jonaburg Next time, pls post related code so that we can help u properly... cuz we can't read your mind, boy! LOL
when tabbar on left or right:
#browser:is(.tabs-left, .tabs-right) #header {min-height: 0;}
when tabbar is not at top position:
#browser:not(.tabs-top) #header {min-height: 0;}
I don't really know what u really wanted, so I provide all possible solution that I know of... hope that can help u.
Oh, u might also want to add
:not(.native):not(.is-settingspage):not(.popup)
after#browser
to exclude native window, settings dialog, & popup window from having no header/titlebar.
