Full Screen Resizing Problem
-
As from the latest update (4.2.2406.42) whenever I exit Vivaldi from full screen, it is wrongly resized. The top toolbars are hidden behind the OS menubar and the bottom of the browser extend to behind the dock (the bottom edge of the screen). In other words, it retains full screen dimensions but with menubar and dock visible.

@mickboni Sorry, hadn't seen your post, until this morning. I created a post yesterday myself reporting the same issue.
BTW, I've now made it so, that I have the dock set to 'automatic hide' (in osx Settings), which eliminates the issue of the dock intruding onto the browser. That just leaves the top of Vivaldi partially hiding under the OS menubar.

As a temporary workaround, I don't allow Vivaldi's "normal" window to extend or touch the edge of the screen. It then allows full screen and restores to same dimensions and position on exit.
This behaviour only started with the mentioned update. I'm hoping the devs will look into this.

@mickboni autohiding the dock seems to work for me.
The first time I exit fullscreen after I enabled autohide the top edge of the browser still went slightly under the OS menubar as before. I then simply dragged it down so that the top edge of the browser is flush with the OS menubar as before when in normal, and since then each time I exit fullscreen it reverts back to the exact same 'normal' position.
I also actually quite like the dock hidden, providing more real estate for the browser or any other application. -
