Does Forum Have Dark Mode?
-
I'm not new to the forum, but since this subforum/channel is the only one that is forum-specific, I figured I would ask here: Is there a way to enable a "Dark Mode" on the forum - it's way too bright for my programmer designed eyeballs!
I tried looking through Profile|Settings, but couldn't find anything to change the display mode. Any tips?

@shifte Both my eyeballs thank you!

I also have a question about the fact the link is an addon extension, but what about if you're not interested in adding an extension to your computer?
Is there anything that is a setting based to enable the Vivaldi Forums under the individual user profile or in the setting?
-
@SubbieSTi2015 Well, it's not native to V specifically, it's just a chromium flag, but it works really nicely for me, & since i discovered it months ago, i use it permanently, even now deactivating my long-term Stylus styles on many of my regular sites.
-
@guigirl, would you mind providing me some guidance on how to achieve that result. I find a lot of the sites don't have dark mode and wish I could manually add it somewhere but if you could so kind to provide me steps, I'm so grateful.
Thanks in advance.

@SubbieSTi2015 Open internal Vivaldi page
chrome://flags/#enable-force-dark
and try the modes from the drop-down.
-
@SubbieSTi2015 I already gave you the method...

How do I add my own settings here? For example:
Background: # faebd7, text: # 16161d
? -
@Ryszard You can add page actions by modifying Vivaldi. For this you need to add a CSS or Javascript file with your modifications to the application in the
user_styles
folder (this is where all the page actions live). Check out https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/10549 which describes where the application folder is located. The user styles folder is in the same folder asbrowser.html
