System Interface Bugs
-
I have several bugs with the Interface on Vivaldi 4.1.2369.15 (Stable channel) (32-Bit) as well as on previous versions.
There is the menu for site options, which does not contain any option anymore:
And then in the dev tools the Dropdown for choosing a Device is in the wrong place and it is not possible to select anything (I can click on it, but nothing happens).

@amerlander Hello, I believe the Devtools issue is known already and being worked on. I remember it being discussed in other post not long ago:
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/64523/bug-administrator-tool-can-t-change-the-mobile-deviceThe missing Page Actions does not happen here, clean profile of Vivaldi 4.1 Stable x64 on Win10.
Try in a clean profile if they appear.
Also check the files in Vivaldi install folder:
Application\4.1.2369.15\resources\vivaldi\user_files
This folder should contain:
CSS_Debugger.js Filter_Black_and_White.css Filter_Grayscale.css Filter_Intensify.css Filter_Invert.css Filter_Obscure.css Filter_Sepia.css Fonts_Monospace.css Highlight_Focus.css Highlight_Hover.css Inline_Access_Keys.css Page_Minimap.js Skewed_Images.js Transform_3D.css Transitions_Forced.css Transitions_Removed.css

Thank you for your reply!
I have 6 profiles which are all not showing the Page Actions - creating a new one also does not change that.
But when I use the "Guest Profile" it shows up as expected.
The files are all present in
Application\4.1.2369.15\resources\vivaldi\user_files

@amerlander The misplaced Developer Tools popup is a known and confirmed bug. Related bug is:
VB-47492 "[Developer Tools] Mobile view menu for devices can not select other than Responsive" -
@amerlander , if it works in a guest profile is a sign that the issue is caused by some extension or settings in the normal profile.
-
@DoctorG But then it should also work when I create a new Profile, right? That does not work.
Anyway, since I just found out, that this menu does not contain a button for disabling js temporarily for a page I do not really need that menu and will just leave it as it is.

@amerlander Try changing the UI language to English, see if it helps.
-
I did, that doesn't help
-
@amerlander Clearly your install is broken. Uninstall and reinstall.
See How to Reset Vivaldi.
Backup you bookmarks, search engines, and any custom thumbnails first.
