Vivaldi 4.1 is not setting bookmarks
-
Vivaldi 4.1.2369.11 does not set bookmarks. I tried adding two different bookmarks and they were not added. I tried 3 ways of doing that, using the banner symbol in the address bar, the bookmark manager window, and the panel. None works. The only way I could add a new bookmark was by setting the bookmark in SeaMonkey or Pale Moon and dragging that bookmark from the bookmarks manager there into the bookmarks manager in Vivaldi.

@streptococcus Does it work after the 4.1.2369.15 update?

I just got Vivaldi 4.1.2369.16. Bookmarking seems to be working again.

I'm having possibly the same issue, although it seems more expansive.
In more detail:
I cannot set new bookmarks using Command D or the quick command.
When I open the bookmark manager, all columns are empty.
Bookmarks do not get listed in quick commands (youtube shows my history, but not the bookmark. Bookmarks are enabled.)However, my bookmarks are visible in the menu bar.
Additionally, I can add bookmarks through the bookmark manager, and they will appear in the menu bar, but not in the bookmark manager itself.I have disabled all extensions, which does not help.
When I created a new user profile and switched to it, bookmarks acted correctly in the manner I'm accustomed to.Syncing bookmarks is enabled. Upload and Download are listed as "Success" in Vivaldi Settings.
Here's my Vivaldi version.
