Next/Prev tab double skip if Tab Bar not in view
-
I prefer to run with the Tab Bar not in view and the Panel in view.
Since upgrading yesterday from Vivaldi 3.6 to 4.1, the shortcut keys to go to the previous and next tab, control-page-up and control-page-down, are skipping two tabs up or down, not one.
After trying various things, I noticed that if I enabled the Tab Bar, then the shortcut keys work fine, going up or down just one tab, as desired.
Whether or not the Panel is also in view doesn't matter, so for a workaround now, I have both the Panel and the Tab Bar in view, with the Tab Bar shrunk to just showing the icons.

@thepythoniccow Unable to confirm here on Windows Snapshot RC1, which should be the same as the Stable build.

@thepythoniccow I confirm your issue with tab bar set to left/right side & hidden. It doesn't happen if the tab bar is on top & hidden.
I reported that bug (it happens in a clean profile too) a month ago, but you can also report it of course.MacBook Pro Early 2015 | macOS 10.12.6 Sierra | Vivaldi 4.1.2369.10

Cool - that workaround works. Thanks!

I can confirm this too on Win10 in a clean profile.
It's easiest to see if the Window Panel is shown at the same time, you will see it jumping two places:
