Closing the main window before the settings window also "kills" Vivaldi under Windows 7 Ultimate x64. I can no longer start Vivaldi (it starts the settings window, not the browser).
-
In speed dial, text is not well vertically centered.

Unable to play Netflix videos. Get a message about using an official version of Chrome. Didn't realize Vivaldi was Chrome LIte. See below…
Whoops, something went wrong...

Close Settings window last should not be possible:
1. Open Settings dialog
2. Close main browser window(s)
3. Close Settings dialog (Vivaldi exits)
4. Start Vivaldi (Settings dialog is the only thing open) <== problem
5. Ctrl+N (recovers browser window for normal use) -
Win 8.1 x64

I tried opening an iTunes Store link and the app asked if it could launch the application. I gave it permission and the app opened in iTunes but it never popped up after loading in iTunes like it does in other browsers.
-
Yup, and if you close the settings and exit, on next start you will only get a black window. Weird.

I'm using Linux.
Two bugs- In a gmail tab, when I open an email, the title of the tab becomes the subject of that email. However, when I go back to inbox, the title does not change, it remains that of the previous email subject.
- Doesn't play the videos in this link www.mtv.com/news/2061317/community-season-6-alison-brie-ken-jeong-interview/ . It says "This plug-in is not supported"; no options for me to install anything, and no info about that plug-in either.

Another bug is with sites that have no valid certificates.
It will not open the page and the tab will just show privacy concerns or something similar.
But when you open a new windows and then try to open it, then you see the default Chrome SSL warning page, where you can ignore message and continue. It does not work when other tabs are opened it seems. It has to be on its own separated window.
Tons of systems, like routers, or internal pages have https// connections which don't exactly have a valid certificate or it may be a local trusted one. This needs to work better. Right now it seems Vivaldi blocks those pages by default without giving the user a choice to proceed or open them.

yesterday on ubuntu everything was fine. today vivaldi crashes

Also there's a duplicate for "open file" item in the downloads pane (if we right-click downloaded file) -
The first thing I do when I use a browser for the first time is setting duckduckgo as default search engine and removing google; after doing this, Vivaldi had become unusable, so I have added Google and … it works again!
Could you be more specific? What does "unusable" mean? Did it crash? Slow down? Stopped responding?

My hardware: AMD A8 6500 APU and 8 GB RAM
My software: Windows 7 UltimateFirst my congratulations. The next stable version could be my substitute for Opera 12.
The following is not a bug, I think. It's more a problem of wasting resources.
I did:
trying the same session lik I have in Opera 12.x. This means 3 windows with 62 open tabs including 12 tab groups.
While setting up this session my PC slowed down till I had no cursor reactions for minutes (i.e. copy/paste).
The RAM-space was less than 1 GB.
Therefore I ended Vivaldi as soon I got control about my PC.
After a new boot next day, there were running only a few background processes (like sytem-processes and virus sanner) and Thunderbird.
As I started Vivaldi all 4 kernels shot up to 100% usage and the amont of RAM Vivaldi captured was 4 GB (Opera 12 needs in the same case only 1 GB) and my PC was blocked again for more than 10 minutes.
I closed Vivaldi as soon as possible and all went well again.I hope the devellopers can increase the performance till the first stable version.

Press Ctrl+N and you'll get a new window
-
CMD+Click opens speed dial entries in the same tab, rather than a new tab. Tnanks!

When browsing the imgur.com gallery and viewing a post with a ".gifv" video, my cpu load shoots up to 95-100% and my computer becomes unresponsive.
Replication: happened with 3 out of 15 videos
Hasn't happened with the latest opera or chromeRunning:
Windows 10 pro x64 build 9926i5 4690K @4.7 GHz
Edit:
Happens 100% of times on this i.imgur.com/KwF0rCU.gifv -
I don't know how to reproduce it yet, probably after playing youtube and playing with full screen and moving the window from one monitor to another (probably not  I really don't know now), so
The full screen notification is permanent, whichever tab I change to, however I zoom or make fullscreen or back.Attached a screenshot

If I use vivaldi://startpage as URL - I get the Speed Dial
However, if I use vivaldi://startpage as Homepage in Settings - I get an error -
The top bar over at typepad.com is completely unresponsive in Vivaldi - including, unfortunately, the login link…
