Capture Area to Clipboard?
Not yet. Even on Win10 x64. -
@gif2d: Works fine for everyone but you it would seem. Until we work out how to reproduce your issue, we cannot fix it.
P.S.

@ruarí could it be my old coiffure the reason?
1st edit: After selecting „Capture Area to Clipboard/File” the cross-selection cursor doesn't even appear…
Only „Capture Page to File/Clipboard” is working at the moment. -
old coiffure???
-
@ruarí: My retro haircut… (joking, as I can't find the real reason behind).
1st edit: Nope, even installing per user doesn't help.
2nd edit: I uninstall it and reinstall the older one working (4.1.2358.15).
Capture Area to File/Clipboard is working as expected.Nope, even installing per user doesn't help.3rd edit: After updating through „Check For Updates” to latest Vivaldi, „Capture to File/Area” isn't working again. I'm confused…

I had Automatically download and install updates checked, but no notification of the update was available, the notification should appear between address field and search field. I have manually updated and installed this, now the setting is unchecked. I really wonder what's even the point of such setting if it doesn't neither update nor remain checked between updates, can someone give some reasonably credible explanation?
-
@ruarí: I can confirm that some keyboard shortcuts don't work. I have ctrl+shift+p set for "capture area to clipboard" but since the previous build nothing happens. And my shortcut for translating a page (alt+t) hasn't been working for ages.
-
@kocho: In my case it doesn't work even from menu (Tools > Capture > Area to Clipboard/File).
Last time working was on 4.1.2358.15 -
@ian-coog: Vivaldi is not constantly polling for an update. On Windows it checks shortly after startup or once per day if the build is running. In addition it will not notify you unless it has fetched the update. So just because there is a new blog post, that does not mean you will immediately be told there is an update. It could take slightly more than 24hrs after the snapshot goes live before you will be notified by the browser.

On Linux, I still have Vivaldi occasionally trash one CPU thread (with the Browser process taking the most load seen from Vivaldi's Task Manager) until I forcefully kill the offending process - vivaldi-bin --new-window --enable-crashpad - (and simply closing + reopening doesn't help). I can try to provide logs, but can't really tie this situation to anything specific. It might be upgrade via apt that's triggering it (while Vivaldi is running), but I think I've seen it in other situations too.

Please fix the bookmark dialogue with UI zoom - https://ibb.co/ZJpdyYy
It was fine on the last stable.
This trend of introducing new bugs and leaving them behind should not be overlooked so easily. -
@gif2d: We might revert the change to capture that happened with that snapshot if this seems to be widespread. Of course I would prefer try and work out what is going on first and get a fix because reverting is a step backwards.

@ruarí The shortcuts for capture area to clipboard or file are working fine for me.

@avx Have you submitted a bug report? Reporting issues on the forum are not sufficient. I cannot reproduce your bug. What OS are you using? Start a topic in the appropriate forum and see if others can reproduce it.
Please see How to Report a Bug.

@pesala: It works fine to me too on this snapshot.
