      Hi,
      When I copy an URL from MS Edge into a document file supporting text formating, a hyperlink is displayed as the name of the website and page.
      Is it possible to add this feature to Vivaldi as well? Would be awesome.

      Adding this here as a workaround (marked as "Solution" for better visibility):

      Go to Settings > Quick Commands > Command Chains and add a new chain:

      Command 1: Open Link in Current Tab
      Command Parameter: javascript:function copy(c){c.clipboardData.setData('text/html','<a href="'+location.href+'">'+document.title+'</a>');c.preventDefault();}document.addEventListener("copy",copy);document.execCommand("copy");document.removeEventListener("copy",copy);history.replaceState({},"",location.href);

      The command chain can be added as a toolbar button, a context menu entry, as well as being assigned to a keyboard shortcut or a mouse gesture.

      Here is a function in FireFox (v. 61.0.2 and older) bookmarks which I don't see happening in Vivaldi and if it did, it would make it a lot smoother to use Vivaldi.

      If I copy a bookmark into an email or doc I can only copy the link, which sometimes can be huge. It's much cleaner if it would copy the title with the link embedded into it.

      //MODEDIT: similar requests merged, original topic title: "Include embedded link with copy/paste bookmark title"

      @Team_Vivaldi - Can you please implement this? Why is it taking so long for you to implement useful feature?

      Hi, the team has 4000+ feature request and this request has 4 user votes after several month. How should they decide?

      Cheers, mib

      5000 of them IMHO are just made by overly demanding and lazy users asking for example a single click feature that now requires 2 steps to do the same thing. shrug

      If you divide all the clicks from multi-steps process by 3 or 4 folds in daily basis, you can save many hands from suffering carpal tunnel & mouse finger. Imagine if you only need to click 300 times instead of 1000 times while browsing Internet everyday, it will make a huge difference over time, especially when you getting older & your hand muscle begin to wane. 😉

      Sorry, I'm currently hiatus from updating any of my CSS mod until further notice...
