Mailing Lists & Deleting (2 Questions)

I was looking thru my Mailing Lists folders. In the "Other" folder I found a bunch of *rap I'd like to delete, particularly in the local subfolder. Is there an efficient way to do that?

Combing thru my Unread folder, I've been marking items "Read" & / or "Trash" as I go. Some behave & move to Trash or Junk however, I'm running into emails that don't delete. What's that about?
Thank you.

@janrif
Hi, try:- Right mouse click on mailing list open a context menu, choose Regenerate and it will delete all empty lists.
- I think it is new, trashed mails stay in unread marked with a trash can.
If you empty the trash they are not completly removed?
Mark as spam goes to spam folder but reappear in unread after a second, not nice.
Maybe this is a bug?

It sure did something; it cleaned many folders some which were not empty (which is ok)

Isn't this the same thing as https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/61894/email-delete-not-email-read-not where deleting messages on the server worked.
If it keeps happening, have you or can you file a bug?
