Upgrade to use Sync?
-
Forgive me if this has already been addressed. When logging in to sync I get a message saying "You must upgrade Vivaldi in order to use Sync." How do I do this? I can't figure out how. I have 4.1.2345.3 (Official Build) (64-bit) installed.

@travward This is a known snapshot bug. Try to search the forum before posting.

@code3 Forgive me for being a little stupid, but how would I search for this known bug? When I use the only search feature I can find, if I input "sync," I get thousands of hits. If I input "sync update," the results are from 2018, 2015, 2020, etc. in no particular order. If I use advance search and only look in the past 6 months, "sync update" results in no hits.
More importantly, can I assume from your answer that sync is indeed working if it says I've logged in, and the upgrade message is simply a display error?
I'm sorry to pester you about this. I love Vivaldi, and it's so unusual for me to come across something that doesn't work.

Judging by the changelog, I think yesterday's snapshot build may have fixed it: https://vivaldi.com/blog/mobile/android-4-1-2350-3/ (didn't read to thoroughly, though)

I searched for "sync update" (without the quotes) for posts posted in the last couple of weeks. Got a page and a half of results, some of which actually quite relevant to your question.
