Hello, I like your products and I'm interested in move my email to vivaldi, but one big thing that is putting my off is the lack of a second authentication. I'd be nice to have at least otp option!

I recently enquired the Vivaldi Team about the lack of 2fa, as my Vivaldi account was compromised a few days ago (my fault, not theirs). The answer I got was:
Regarding two factor authentication. There's no 2FA available yet. We're working on it, but there are some pretty big road blocks we need to get sorted first.
I would suggest the team to put 2FA as a priority at the moment, since almost every service online has it, and it is proven to be effective. Even though I was hacked because of my mistakes, I am certain that no one could have entered my account if 2FA was a feature.
Having said that, I will keep using Vivaldi as one of my primary emails. I really like the domain (@vivaldi.net sounds pretty cool) and the simplicity of the design. Outlook, for instance, is ugly as hell.

Thanks for your reply, I understand that email service is not a main feature in the vivaldi ecosystem, but I think that luansm is right, priority in 2fa would be nice, is hard to think in any important online account without one.
