Saving History settings to 'NO'
-
Hello there, is it possible in Vivaldi completely stop the History? Because i really miss in the "Privacy" settings > "Keep history browsing" the choice to save NO history at all. There is the minimum "Session only". My request is for normal window, not for the Private window (there is already no history).
Can you implement this in Vivaldi, please?
Thank you

@xtech said in Saving History settings to 'NO':
completely stop the History
You mean, there is no back button, because it does not remember the last page?

Well, i mean to set up No History. In FF it is possible. In all alternative Chromium based browsers i still miss this feature.
Can somebody implement this, please?

@xtech I’m trying to understand how strict you are about no history. I could create a mod or extension to wipe history every ten seconds. Some history like recently visited tabs may stay, but could probably be wiped too. But Vivaldi can’t do this natively.
Search to see if this has been requested before, open a feature request if it has not.

Yes, i am sure that it is absolutely desired function - to have an option "None". If there is an option "Day", "Week", "Last month" and "Everything", why not "None"?!
Extension that automatically delete History (every 10s) is a solution, BUT much better will be to have it native.
At these days of permanently attacked cyber security it is sort of important option.
Ok, i will create feature request.
