Hide the Status Bar with a button
-
Hello there,
in left down corner i can easily hide the Left panel with the button. That's fine. But i suggest the ability to hide the Status Bar with similar button too.
I am sure it will handful in certain situations.
Thank you

@xtech Where would you place this button?
- Obviously, on the Status Bar is next to useless because you cannot use it to show the Status Bar once it is hidden
- A lot of users hide the Panel Toolbar, so putting it there would also mean that it is inaccessible unless the Panel Toolbar is enabled.
- It could be put at the top, on the address bar, but then it is at the opposite side of the window. Is that useful?
I use a single-key shortcut of "s" to show/hide the status bar. One could also assign a mouse gesture such as GestureUp if you don't use that to Stop a page from loading.

Sure, i was thinking on this dilema with hiding the Status Bar and Panel Toolbar.
Perhaps the solution could be in some pop-up buttons in left down corner (for the combination i will have both Left panel and Status Bar hidden). I can imagine this.
Or to set up some rules, i mean if Panel Toolbar is enabled i can hide the Status Bar (via some button on Panel Toolbar), and opposite - which is the actual state. I guess that there will be some users they prefer just one panel (namely Status Bar), not both.
Your solution with adding the button on Address Bar is acceptable.
Anyway, pop-up button in left down corner sounds fine to me.
