Console displays asian characters instead of english
-
Hi, I am experiencing a problem with Vivaldi console. For some reason, it displays chinese characters instead of english. I have no idea why this is happening or how to change it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

@seggar Hello and Welcome to the Vivaldi Community
Looks like you've got a Service Worker registration doing this.
Check the
vivaldi://serviceworker-internals
and click Unregister on all you don't recognise, or better on all of them.Service Workers suck, I run CookieAutoDelete extension to remove all of them after a tab is closed.

Service Workers suck
Even the Vivaldi Forum one?
-
@tbgbe Yes, even the forum one. Burn all SW with fire.

@pathduck Hi, thanks for help.
I unregistered all the Service Workers but that did not solve the problem. I deleted all cookies but that did nothing. The only thing that seems to help is disabling cookies, but then I can't login to any websites.
I've never had this problem before, and I have been using Vivaldi for a long time now. Does no one else experience that?
Is there anything else I can try? -
@seggar You can try to disable all your extensons and see if the problem goes away. If so it's an extension.
https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/appearance-customization/extensions/#Managing_ExtensionsYou can try in a new profiile, if no issue there the problem is somewhere in your profle.

Yes! It was one of the extensions. Thanks for help; it was really getting on my nerves.
