Speed dial thumbnail scaling - individual control requested
-
Tools -> Settings -> Appearance -> User interface scale My 13" laptop has 1920x1080 and I use this feature to zoom the UI to 130% so that the text and menus become visible. However, the speed dial thumbnails are blown up too big and waste space on the screen. Tested on windows 8.1 Asus zenbook laptop Is it possible to separate the UI scaling from the thumbnail scaling - into two separate settings? Or possibly - UI scaling controls everything , and a second speed dial zoom control allows the thumbnails to be zoomed down? Thanks

Hi,
+1 : I'm also interrested by this request -
Is it possible to separate the UI scaling from the thumbnail scaling - into two separate settings?
I'm suggesting exactly that since the day one and I discussed the problem with the involved devs less than one month ago.
Basically they fear on a big regression doing this kind of apperently strightforward mod. So we will see something in that area after the v1 release.

I've a problem with this too. Would be good if the size can can be adjusted just as one can zoom a webpage with Ctrl-mouse-scroll.

Apparently not that important as the issue only has 13 votes at the moment. You can fit more thumbnails by decreasing the UI Zoom, but that also reduces the size of other interface elements.
