Beware of Hacked Linux Mint ISO Files

If you downloaded a Linux Mint iso file from linuxmint.com at the 20th or 21st of February 2016, check and double check the MD5SUM! According to the official announcements there were infected versions distributed which could compromise your personal data. For more detailed information take a look here. As far as I read the blog myself updates from the repositories were not affected. I didn't know Mint (Cinnamon) to be that popular that there was someone taking the effort to hack it.
