Quick Commands history time limit

I rarely want to find something older than a month using quick commands, but no matter, I still have to search through whole history. It causes momentary freeze on the field. Right now I can only have history in quick commands:
- enabled - after first keystroke, field is frozen, which defeats the purpose of "quick" commands (it's better to just punch "f8" for some cases, but you still have to wait for some others)
- disabled - which defeats one of the main goals of commands
Would it be possible to add timeframe setting for history?
@mashuumidori See Settings, Privacy, Save Browsing History. Set it to a shorter time period.

@pesala It's not the solution. I want to have full history accessible when I go to History tab, but it's not necessary in quick commands. Hence my request for separate setting for quick commands

@pesala Their point is they want a wide history range on the history page and in the panel, but want to restrict the search for a quick commands search. This is not only valid, but a good idea.
