blocked:NotSameSite for the Google Translate extension
-
The official Google Translate extension, installed from the Chrome store, fails to play audio (clicking the speaker icon on the translation pop-up), because the audio clip is blocked. It says that I need to add resource policy, but the websites are not mine, so I cannot add that. How to solve this problem?

@gwen-dragon It used to work on that site. And this problem currently seems to be occurring on all sites, like Wikipedia or Amazon.
PS: I have tried it on Chrome, and the situation was the same, so maybe this is due to ... chromium engine change or something? Because, it happens on all sites, so it cannot be a specific site's issue, and the last time that the extension was updated was back in January.

For some reason, this problem is fixed in both Vivaldi and Chrome. The extension has not been updated since January, and I have not updated Vivaldi/Chrome since I posted this, so, I am guessing that maybe this problem could have been fixed by some sort of change to the "https://translate.googleapis.com" server that the extension is requesting.
