@juanvase: Yeah the fix arrived and was sent to internal testers and sopranos yesterday. Nonetheless a little wider testing is always handy.

Automatically offer to translate pages
is re-enabled after each update. It's a bit annoying.MacBook Pro Early 2015 | macOS 10.12.6 Sierra | Vivaldi 4.0.2312.17

@hlehyaric Stop complaining. Say thank you.

The keyboard shortcut for translating a page (Alt+T in my case) does not work in several builds now. It used to work fine during the experimental stage.

About Mail
Why do you only recommend Fastmail and not, for example, Tutanota, Protonmail even if you have a deal with Fastmail?When accessing Tools>Mail the mail window is displayed.
When clicking on Mail icon in the left panel the Add Mail Account is displayed. Clicking on it displays a wizard that will guide user on setup a new mail account. Shouldn't be this window presented first to the user and then the Mail window?
To me the flow will be this: Add Account->Mail window. Why: because after installing Vivaldi the user doesn't have an email account and clicking on Tools>Mail will open a empty/blank window with some icons and the next question will be "How can I add a new email account?"About Mail in Private Windows
Mail(beta), Feeds(beta) and Contacts(beta) doesn't appear in Private windows when trying to pin it to left panel.Mail is displaying the following message in Private windows: "Mail is in Another Window. The Vivaldi email client runs in a single window at a time." Mention: Mail is not running.
About Vivaldi
Why Contacts and Feeds aren't available in the Tools menu? -
Also, for as long as I remember: selecting a bunch of RSS items/articles is almost impossible with ctrl+A, ctrl+shift+home/end, click-shift_down-click. The selection "unmarks" by itself.
-
For me this update didn't create additional shortcuts on the desktop and in the taskbar (I think that's is VB-80238)
btw: Where's todays snapshot?
-
@gwen-dragon Mid-week?
I thought we were all Sopranos now -
Hum. I just had a
segmentation fault (core dumped)
during a webrtc conference, something I had not have with vivaldi for a while.I doubt that I can reproduce, and I don't know whether it's a new issue or just something that has triggered which did not trigger before.
-
Unsure how old this is due to my recent updating policy & absence. Hiding the address bar (with the keyboard) while an extension pop-up is open doesn’t close the pop-up. Can somebody reproduce?
-
@gwen-dragon Thanks. It’s
VB-80354
.Btw., is it 4.1 already?

OS Windows 10 OS Version 2009 (Build 19043.1023)@Ruarí Twice I have played a video from different sources (not YouTube). The video froze, Vivaldi froze, had to close, via Task Mgr. First time for this behavior. Don't have any clues.

provide them exact links, it's not testable if devs don't know which videos cause your problem

Regression:
Links opened from a tab stack are opened next to the tab stack instead of the end of the tab bar (VB-80359). -
Dear Mr. Vivaldi,
May I please have my cherished Rich URL extension back? It is so useful and I really hate to see it go.
Thank you,
HopefulPS: Would you also consider placing the Snapshot version number in the status bar? Since it changes so often it would be convenient to be able to refer to it without menu diving. Thanks again.
