Move tab BACK from new window
-
Every so often, I seem to accidentally move a tab somehow and it then creates a new window with that tab in it. HOW can I move it back? Finding nothing on-line about undoing that action, all kinds of info on how TO do it.
What I usually do is copy the link from the tab in the new window, paste it into a new tab in the original window, and kill the new window.
Since I never use the "move tab to new window" feature intentionally, any way to disable that?
TIA DK

@dkolars
Hi, moving the new window tab back to the originale window work for me, the second window close automaticly. KDE on Opensuse.
It happen to me too sometimes but I never tested to move it back, yay.Cheers, mib

@dkolars If you used Drag to move the tab to a new window by mistake, just drag it back again.
-
@pesala I have tried dragging it back to every possible location... nothing works. It appears that the mouse has grabbed the tab, but will not drop it anywhere.

@dkolars If your current Vivaldi window is maximised, when you accidentally drag the tab out to a new window, the new window will be restored, but may cover most of the monitor. Just drag the tab back to the very top of the screen to drop it into the background window.

@pesala Nope... I can grab it (the "V" icon moves about), but it will not drop anywhere Sigh

@dkolars Grab the tab, not the Vivaldi menu icon.
Please watch this short video.

@pesala Thanks, that did it... have to drag new window off top to see original window with other tabs, then can drag it nicely...
