Novel idea.

I have been trying to get Firefox interested to no avail.
I get tired of using exclusion in my search parameters (-ebay -amazon Etc) and wondered if Vivaldi could add filter option which would look something like this:-Filter --+
Deny Allow
Shopping --+
|
+- -ebay,-asda +Morrisons, +Farmers
Decorating--+
|
+ -homebase +b&qSo this could automatically tag the inculcations and executions to the search on any web site.
This would benefit retailers and services because it would stop google and amazon from drowning out regular retailers in preference their own (junk).Discus.

@raymondfward You can already do that with Vivaldi. Search with your preferred terms and replace the keyword with
%s
, then save it as custom search.E.g. use this as search URL
https://duckduckgo.com/?q=%s+-amazon+-ebay&ia=web
, which will search duckduckgo, excluding amazon and ebay. -
@raymondfward Vivaldi is already to the point where you could type “shop” before the search and have certain shopping sites excluded, see post above.
Appending extra parameters could be cool, sounds like maybe that’s what you want.

@raymondfward Look at this post: "Always Block Specific Sites in Search"
https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/32864/always-block-specific-sites-in-search/4#
-
I must apologise. I'm sorry I was sent very clear and I did not anticipate the blog removing all the redundant spaces which makes the mock up look bad.
Form my point of view I would like to reduce the amount of typing. My exclusions can by rather long and copy and past is not a quality fix.
Once an item has been selected it would be appended to the standard quire.
The only problem with this how would it know if was a search engine or a standard page? -
@raymondfward You can use table formatting here. Quote my post to see the code.
Tables (Heading 2)
Col 1 Col 2 Col 3 Col 4 Left Aligned Centred Markdown Help Right Aligned Bold strikeoutBold Italic 12345.67 -
@raymondfward Again, what is shown in your table can already be done. For instance, you can set it up to type
shop toys
And it will search for “toys” excluding google and allowing morrissons.
