Syncing with Google Calendar: Annoying notifications
HellbillyDeluxe last edited by
First off, I've searched the forum, but couldn't find a similar thread, so I've created a new one. Please excuse me if this issue has been mentioned before.
Last week, I've tried the integrated Calendar for the first time, just to see how useful it is. I've added my Google account and that's when the problem started. Immediately after adding it, I've got hundreds and hundred of Vivaldi notifications displaying "New event created". Basically, Vivaldi is sending these notifications for every single event it is creating while syncing my Google Calendar. These notifications got so annoying (and just wouldn't stop), that I had to remove my Google account from Vivaldi Calendar again, just to make it stop.
Now I do realize that Vivaldi Calendar is still an Experiment and therefore not stable. But I'm wondering if this is a known issue or if there's anything I can do from preventing Vivaldi to showing me those notifications.
I'm using Vivaldi 3.8.2259.42 (Stable channel) (64-bit) and Windows 10 20H2 (Build 19042.985)
@hellbillydeluxe Thanks for your report. We are aware of the issue. Although we are struggling a bit with reproducing it. This will be looked at. Regards Gudmundur Arnar
