Even NRK journos don't know about Vivaldi 🙄

One would expect the Norwegian public broadcaster NRK would at least mention Vivaldi as a secure privacy-oriented browser in an article about online tracking...
"To leave fewer tracks on the internet, it is easiest to choose the right browser. 52 percent of Norwegians use the Chrome (Google) browser. It is considered less privacy friendly than Firefox, Brave, and Safari (Apple)."
I figured they need some education on the matter so made a comment linking to information about Vivaldi's tracker blocker. Don't worry, I was reasonably nice

@Pathduck Even worse, they failed to mention Vivaldi as the European alternative.

Isn't it simply so galling! People whose specific task is supposed to be investigate & research, then document & publish, to keep the Great Unwashed Masses slightly less myopically clueless & careless than they already are, utterly fail at this core task.
The number of articles over recent months comparing [only] edge & chrome to decide "the best browser" -- gahhhhhhh.
Just this morning i read another puff-piece in a supposedly good online tech magazine extolling the "magnificence" of chrome's tab-groups. Once again, it's written up as if this is an invention of gargle. Not a mention of Opera Presto, nor Vivaldi. Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhgggggghhhhhhhhhhh.
Lazy incompetent blithering idjits.
