changing tabs loses sound on former tab

I think the subject line says it all. If tab 1 is streaming audio, changing to tab 2 mutes the sound. I'm new to Vivaldi, searched forum, found no answers. Thanks for your help, and please stay safe in this weird world we are forced to inhabit.

Open the settings dialog, and type "Mute" to find the options for audio play-back.
