Middle click to close window

  • When you middle click on tabs they close. Doesn't it make sense that middle clicking on the last tab should close the window? I may have missed it if there is a setting for this. Let me know.

If you want this, use some key mapping software for your mouse.

In Windows programs Middle Mouse Button closes tabs, not the program's window.

    That's an hideous chrome/ff behavior.

Possibly It would make sense on a browser. Opera and Vivaldi are more than that. The browser part is just a subsection of what Opera does and what Vivaldi will do.

Agreed. I can barely work without first launching Opera 12.17. I have buttons for all of my most used applications on the Address Bar and shortcuts defined for those that I use less frequently, e.g. F,T,P, will launch FTP Commander. This is so much quicker than using the Windows Start button and the program menus.

Being able to define mnemonic shortcuts will be the one feature that finally makes me ditch Opera 12.17 and switch to Vivaldi.
