iOS app: share to Vivaldi
fabioromeo last edited by
I use Safari on my iPhone but I keep Firefox installed so I can easly share links to my desktop. If Vivaldi can't or won't have an iOS browser, at the very least it would be great a "Share to Vivaldi" app that does exactly that. I would like to easily share links between the iPhone, the Desktop and my Samsung tablet like I can with Firefox.
I like that idea very much.

A very reasonbale suggestion. I usually transfer many links to my PC via my iPhone. Since start using Vivaldi recently, it would be nice to switch to the feature you mentioned. I pretty much use the Webmail to run my website and I start to liking it.

In the meantime you may try to find out an app with website access and add it to a Panel on V.
Here I use SimpleNote (just from Web) and NoteJoy or any Chat to easily Share To, maybe exist for iOS.
Evernote would help as a Workaround as well.
"Off Topic Tip"
Follow the Signature's Backup | Reset link.
Take the opportunity to start a Backup plan and even create a Template Profile.

Or even DeltaChat...
I created a Links page in Notion and then saved that Notion page as a web panel in Vivaldi.
It's not the same as Firefox's share to device feature, but it's certainly quick.

I don´t know what feature "share to.." would mean, but what if we got the possibility of keeping "bookmarks" - or "tags" on "vivaldi.net" that referred to internet resources that we defined?
Like I have my own private cloud on my LAN, and I get it NFS mounted by "Hikbox". You can do the same on Androids and IOS - not on Windows:
mycloud nfs: vivaldi.net/$myisp/$myhomeIP/10.0.0.71 <login id>
Then to make it "Safe" - and I can make it all safe, if Vivaldi can keep 3 numbers for me - also bookmarks, that the app can update.
Most here use "shares", and used to insecurity, but this can be "share" in above.
With the app, we can mount private clouds, have a secure net with our own encryption, accessible through being logged in here.
