Ok. Super

so coooool now i won't hide panel heheheheh
-
OK first thing: It breaks any menu customisations. Basically any json files in profile are deleted - good thing I do regular backups!
But I really like the changes to the panels, will have to try out the background image option.
Guess I will have to work on the CSS for using highlight colour for panel selector backgrounds...
Or maybe just keep the default, it looks pretty nice.

@pathduck: we added some images to the blog post

Hello,
for optical changes, a before/after picture would be great. -
You will also notice we moved the Start Page Background settings to the Themes category. This way it’s easier to find a good image that fits your current theme, and get the best possible matching settings (colors, images and opacity).
I gotta be honest, I was kinda hoping we would be able to chose separate start page backgrounds for each theme. And the window background image is completely gone!
Also, argh!
- Tab dragging with "Minimize Active Tab" enabled is still terrible! (VB-77817)
- Dragging tabs in private mode is still not possible. (VB-77814)
- And the pinned tabs still take far too much space when moving around.
Other than that, I like the changes to the panel bar
EDIT
Also, there's no way to blend the accent color with the window background image anymore. -
@guigirl I just tested it:
"It'll 'ave a wee wile still fawr this tah be available tah me vian bloody 'erecura, but in the bloody meantime i'll prepahah a pahragraph o' joyous strayan [der test the bleedin' new translatawr] tah describe me 'appiness that this repeat-zombie-bug is quashed agayyn, fawr now: Bloody oath mate."

It's so far one of the best updates I've ever received on Vivaldi! Pure ecstasy!

Will there be an ARM based Windows version?

The little picture I'm using as background for speed dial from v1.0 now it's not loaded anymore
Apparently it's related on the picture geometry, I tried cutting the image vertically 10 pixels at a time, and now it's 200x170 from 200x200 originally, and it gets loaded.
Definately a bug in loading images due to their geometry, here's another example:
not loading: 1200x900
loading: 1200x840

I lost my thumbnail transparency again. It is about time this was fixed properly instead of relying on CSS mods to fix it.

Great additions, opacity and blur blend very nice with KDE's native ones. Thumbs up also for using the highlight color on active panel items.
