Can't verify via SMS

Whenever I try and enter my cell number for SMS verification and go to save, it kicks me the following error:
Can't verify the user.
Something went wrong.
If this error keeps appearing, please contact us.Anyone else experienced this? I've had my number for about a year and a half and I don't think that is was recycled (at least not recently). Any help would be appreciated!

Unfortunately, none of the scenarios listed apply in this case:

I made the account today (I've never had any interaction with Vivaldi or its community prior, so I can't see why it'd be locked for a breach of TOS -- didn't sign up with a VPN or on a weird network).

Activated with the e-mail they sent me earlier.

Followed the steps for attempting to verify SMS and got that error message.

Didn't mistype the password at any point.

Just complete the "contact us" info and make sure you add that info in the description area

@rkhunter Do you use a dark mode extension called Dark Reader? This extension is known to break Vivaldi.net.
If you do, please disable it temporarily and see if you can verify your phone number then.

Can confirm Dark Reader was indeed the problem! Toggled it off and everything went smoothly. Thanks!
